You are welcome to attend the Creative Writing Play Date, an open-membership writing workshop that is held every Tuesday night from 8pm to 10pm at Mother Tongue Books, 1067 Bank Street near Sunnyside Street.

At the workshop, we begin with a creative writing exercise led by Sean Zio. For the first half of the evening, we write independently. In the second half of the evening, we reconvene and read to each other what we wrote. The ‘play’ of the workshop unfolds as we discover how we each responded differently to the one exercise.

All forms of writing are welcome: fiction, non-fiction, poetry, script, etc.
